Jesus is alone with his Mother in Nazareth. They're happy to be together, and it looks like a sweet colloquy. Then Jesus asks Mary what she thinks of the apostles, now that she's seen them all, and she tells him what she thinks...

Jesus is in Nazareth. Judas asks him if he is going to Mount Lebanon, and he confirms that he is, as he has promised Esther and must see the shepherds Daniel and Benjamin. The Iscariot then decides to take his leave to go and see his mother, and Peter rejoices loudly at this unexpected departure. Jesus then gives words of consolation to James of Alphaeus, who is overcome with scruples because he feels he is not doing right by his own mother. Then the Master enjoins Peter to be charitable towards Judas.

Jonathas then comes storming in, adoring the Savior, and above all asking him for a miracle for his mistress, Jeanne de Kouza, who is dying. She had ordered him to turn around and go home, and it was then that Esther warned them that Christ was in Nazareth. Without waiting, the Lord sets off with the shepherd, using donkeys as mounts. He finds Jeanne and saves her, and she immediately believes in the Savior.
