The Gospel as revealed to me

Detail

The apostolic group, accompanied by Joseph of Emmaus, who has been ostracized by Israel, heads for Arimathea. Joseph needs to be detoxified from the hatred he has received. So Jesus asks the apostles to be very careful about intransigence: in fact, he makes a fine speech about the lost soul returning to its Lord. Finally, he declares that he will give Isaac of Yutta to Joseph to help train him in his way.

Note:

  • EMV 141 is the beginning of volume 3 of the old edition.
  • It marks the beginning of the second year of Jesus' public life.

Finally, Jesus speaks of baptism, and declares that soon Grace will be restored to mankind. They are now on the edge of Samaria. Chapter title: Healing of a Sychar woman and conversion of Photinai.

Date of vision: Thursday, April 26, 1945

Calendar: Thursday, January 6, 28

Cycle: The Samaritan woman

Summary: The apostolic group leaves Sychar. The apostles recriminate against the Lord for coming to Samaria. Jesus points out that he was able to sow and reap, but Thomas remarks that the Samaritans didn't have much faith, since they didn't ask for miracles. The Master replies that asking for a miracle is not synonymous with true and lasting faith. When he is finally told that the Sanhedrin might take him to task for having made this visit to idolatrous lands, Christ replies that they would find grounds for accusing him anyway, and he adds that a day spent saving lost sheep is never wasted in vain. Finally comes the healing of a possessed Samaritan woman. Peter is embarrassed, for he was certain that someone wanted to harm Christ. Finally comes Photinai, who has spoken to the man she was living with. She wanted to grow in holiness. Jesus tells her to wait at home and that a redeemed woman will come to her and help her to be close to the Redeemer.

He doesn't mind, given his past life as a leper. Simon asked Jesus if the Master could pass by the lepers in Jerusalem. Christ nods in agreement, and John asks if he has been prayed for and will teach him his Prayer this year. Jesus answers in the affirmative. Peter finally refocuses the conversation on what the Master did during the night: he reveals that he went to see his Forerunner, who is about to die. They are amazed that he had to be strengthened, and Jesus says that the saints will only know how to go to martyrdom thanks to Him.
