The Gospel as revealed to me

Detail

Chapter title: The disciples' wives in the service of Jesus.

Date of vision: Thursday, May 3, 1945

Calendar: Saturday, January 15, 28 (1 Scébat 3788).

Location (map): From Capernaum to Caesarea Maritime

Cycle: The female apostolate

Summary: Peter broods in his corner. With the arrival of women disciples in the apostolic company, he has the impression that Porphyria, his wife, is useless. But Jesus says he needs some of the wives to stay at home, to provide shelter for their sisters who are following them into Palestine. This is a necessity: if they had all wanted to follow the Lord, he would have had to tell some of them to stay. Peter therefore reasserts himself, and we learn that the apostolic troop will be advancing towards Caesarea Maritime.

Chapter contents: 153.1: Peter regrets that his wife is not following Jesus. The others describe how women, mothers and daughters, serve Jesus. 153.2: Andrew points out his brother's authoritarian nature. Everyone laughs. 153.3: The characteristics of the apostolate of the disciples' wives.
